History of Lyric Music Theater
Founded in 1952, Lyric Music Theater is community theater at its finest. The purpose and mission of Lyric Music Theater shall be to foster and develop interest in the theater in the Greater Portland Area, particularly as applied to music and drama, and to provide a medium for the expression of such interest. As a non-profit ("501c3") organization our goal is to create enjoyable music theater for the benefit of our audience at prices that are affordable. We cater to hometown fans and visitors to Maine alike! All are welcome.
